Under section 122 of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 (HPCA Act), the Manatū Hauora | Ministry of Health reviews how effectively and efficiently the Physiotherapy Board Te Poari and any other health regulatory authority is performing its functions. These reviews take place every five years.
