This month the Board | te Poari welcomes two new Ministerial appointments to the Board | te Poari: layperson Martine Abel‐Williamson QSM and physiotherapist Kore Tombs.
Martine comes to the Board | te Poari with more than 25 years of experience in the disability space as an advocate and advisor including as a Senior Human Rights Advisor at the Human Rights Commission/Te Kahui Tika Tangata and President of the World Blind Union.
Kore has worked as a physiotherapist for close to three decades, teaches courses through the Mental Health Education & Resource Centre and has consulted on projects for both Physiotherapy New Zealand and the Board | te Poari.
The Board | te Poari looks forward to Martine and Kore joining the Board and the experience and perspectives they bring.
