Digital health standard

The Board | te Poari has released its new Digital health standard.

This standard outlines principles for physiotherapists using digital tools – including Artificial Intelligence – in their practice and supersedes two previous standards, the Telehealth standard and the Internet and electronic communication standard.

The new standard comes into effect 1 April 2026 and practitioners are encouraged to familiarise themselves with it before this date.
