One of the Board | te Poari projects this year was working with Kia Ora Hauora and the Pasifika Physiotherapy Association to produce videos for school‐aged Māori and Pacific youth championing physiotherapy as a career choice.
We interviewed four physiotherapists, (pictured: clockwise from top left) Dyani Murray, Tioke Pryor, Nari‐Jane Guthrie, and Rasela‐Joy Gibson about what brought them to physiotherapy and how their cultures backgrounds and worldviews have informed and strengthened their practice.
