This episode is the second of three in which Board Te Poari professional advisor Maarama Davis talks with intersex activist and counsellor, Mani Mitchell MNZM. Mani is a Rainbow‐identifying person who has devoted much of their life to educating people about the lived reality of people who are non‐binary, lecturing at universities and running workshops around the world. They also have experience of the health system as a kiritaki patient and were on the working group involved with revising the Board te Poari Cultural safety and cultural competence standard.
